The JailHost option doesn't replace carrying out regular script updates or using proper passwords, but it'll minimize any damage to your sites significantly, so you will have to fix only one website and not all of them.

JailHost in Web Hosting

In case you host your websites within a web hosting account from our company, you could protect them using the JailHost feature with just a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. This feature is provided with all plans and can be activated for any folder because the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have different folders, so that files for various websites never get mixed up as it usually happens with other Control Panels. We haven't activated JailHost by default because you might use scripts which need access to folders outside the primary site folder and this option can interfere with their proper operation, but shielding all the other folders is really easy. JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

In case you have a semi-dedicated server account, you can activate JailHost with several clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel because we've included this feature in all of our semi-dedicated packages. It is not active by default for the reason that you might use an app which requires accessibility to other folders inside the account and JailHost may cause problems, but you can easily secure all other Internet sites by separating them from one another. This is quite easy as in Hepsia all domains and subdomains have separate folders. In contrast, a lot of other Control Panels save the content of multiple Internet sites in subfolders under a main domain, so one hacked website there means that all of them will be hacked. With Hepsia, just one website could possibly get damaged and even if this happens, we will quickly bring it back thanks to the multiple daily backup copies which we will keep, so you can go ahead and update it after that so as to protect it from potential attacks.
